The Firefly
You know the benefits of white noise and how it can help your little one sleep. If you’ve been looking at white noise machines, you’ve probably seen the Baby Shusher. The Baby Shusher is one of my favorite white noise machines. It’s portable and uses actual shushing sounds. I didn’t think it could get any better, but then I was introduced to the FireFly at the ABC Kids Expo earlier this year.
The FireFly is a better product than the Shusher. Let me explain why.
How is the FireFly Different to the Shusher?
Portability: The FireFly is even more portable than the Shusher; it’s smaller and lighter. But that doesn’t decrease its volume at all. The FireFly has a huge volume range.
Timer: The Shusher has timer options of 15 and 30 minutes, which is not ideal. The FireFly has three timer options (30, 60, or 90 minutes) or can play continuously.
Nightlight: This is my favorite feature. The FireFly has an inbuilt nightlight. It’s easy to turn on (there’s no fiddly button at the back) and has the most relaxing orange glow! Perfect for when you need a little light during the night. (You know how I love an easy-to-use nightlight as a cue for night feeds.)
Rechargeable: You won’t need to find batteries during a nap! It uses a USB-C charger, and you can still use it whilst it’s charging.
The FireFly is a top-notch choice. From its elegant design and ease of use to its effectiveness in promoting high-quality sleep, it exceeds my expectations.
