THE LISTS
My Favorite Things
When you’re buying products for your family, it can feel a little overwhelming as there are just so many options.
Let me share some of my favorite products, including all my favorite sleepy products, with you.

SNOOZ
USE CODE MICHISLEEP TO SAVE 10%
This is the white noise machine I use. It’s stylish and works incredibly well. It uses a fan to create the noise, it’s not too high pitched (which I find very annoying) and drowns out household noise very well.
NANIT
USE CODE RebeccaM20 TO SAVE 20%
The Nanit monitor is as smart as they come! It alerts you when baby is crying, if they roll over or stand in the crib, the temperature and humidity, and it can even monitor their breathing. You can monitor everything on your phone, Google home or Amazon Alexa.
BLACKOUT
Blackout blinds and curtains are okay, but they always seem to let a little light around the top, sides and bottom and end up not making the room dark! Especially in the summer when it stays light later, and the sun begins coming up in the middle of the night! This blackout attaches to the window frame with velcro. No light is getting through this bad boy!
CRANE
Did you know a humidifier can make sleep so much easier for your family? Keeping some moisture (can we say that word yet?) in the air makes it easier to breathe, and the easier it is to breathe, the easier time humans have sleeping. Crane makes the most adorable humidifiers and some serious ones for your bedroom.
FIREFLY
The FireFly by BabyShusher is fantastic. It’s portable, easy to use, has a great volume range and a beautiful orange glow nightlight.
WOOLINO
I have been a fan of Woolino since they brought out their first sleep sack. They were the first company in the US to use Merino wool in a sleep sack. They have expanded their offerings to include swaddles, blankets and clothing.
ADEN AND ANAIS
Muslin is the most amazing fabric for sleep, it’s lightweight and breathable and Aden and Anais make the most adorable prints. They make swaddles, sheets, clothes, bibs and blankets. If you don’t have an Aden and Anais swaddle, are you even parenting?
ERGOPOUCH
Ergopouch is an Australian company with the most fantastic product line, from swaddles to sleep sacks, all of which have a TOG rating. The lower the TOG number, the lighter the fabric. They start at 0.2 TOG for those in hot climates and up to 3.5 TOG for those in very chilly spots.
SWADDLE DESIGNS
Loved by us ordinary folk and celebrities alike, Swaddle Designs makes gorgeous swaddles, sleep sacks, blankets, bibs, burp cloths, you name it, they’ll have a cute one! I am a big fan of the lovies and will often gift them to clients.

GRACO
Graco’s SmartSense™ Soothing Bassinet is by far the best smart bassinet out there. The technology is mind-blowing, and the price is less than half of other smart bassinets. What I love about this bassinet is that you don’t need to strap your baby to the mattress.
NATUREPEDIC
SAVE 15% WITH CODE MICHI15
As your baby will spend countless hours sleeping (hopefully), you want them to be on as natural of a product as possible. Naturepedic makes organic mattresses with zero toxic chemicals. I always suggest buying the best mattress you can afford, putting your money into the mattress, not the crib.
ARMS REACH
Arms Reach created the original co-sleeper back in 1997. Their lightweight bassinets and cribs attach to your bed and create a separate sleep surface that is attached to your bed. Night feeds are accessible, and it’s much easier to lay down your sleeping baby as you don’t need to get them up and over the side of a crib or bassinet.
HALO
Halo’s Bassinests are game changers with your newborn. Why? Well, it swivels, so you can quickly grab your baby during the night for those night feeds and get your baby safely back to bed without needing to leave your bed at all!
SNUZ
Snuz is a new company in the USA; they have created gorgeous-looking co-sleepers that are designed to keep the baby close, make sleep as safe as possible, and are some of the best-looking cribs on the market.
Bedtime Playlist
Each week the Slumber Academy Bedtime Playlist is updated. This playlist is perfect for your child’s bedtime routine. It lasts around 35 minutes and always ends with the same song, so you know when to finish up.
